Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's best-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and cannot clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few missed corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones or adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've used that has done well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does it all.
But if you want to save some money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many alternatives on the market which include a variety of eufy models priced substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, just attach one of the side brush, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room for it to move but.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The way the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with the boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. robot vacuum cleaner sale means it doesn't have to be emptied as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
